Where & When I'd like to talk about Cox's Bazar — a coastal city in the south of Bangladesh, home to the world's longest natural sea beach. I visited about two years ago during the winter holiday.
What & Who I went with five university friends. We spent most of our time on the beach watching the sunrise over the Bay of Bengal — absolutely breathtaking. We also explored the local market and tried incredible fresh seafood.
Why interesting What made it memorable was the sheer scale — you could walk for hours and the shoreline stretched on forever. There was something humbling about standing at the ocean's edge, feeling so small. It gave me a genuine sense of perspective. I'd definitely go back.

So I'd argue the benefits depend heavily on how tourism is managed. Sustainable tourism, with strong environmental regulations, can be genuinely beneficial — whereas mass tourism without oversight often does more harm than good."
